Vladimir Putin and Sauli Niinisto exchanged views on the crises in Syria and Ukraine.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the crises in Syria and Ukraine, as well as bilateral relations and upcoming contacts at various levels, with his counterpart from Finland, the Kremlin said Thursday.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto today… The leaders also exchanged views on the crises in Syria and Ukraine," the Kremlin said.
